The Labour Party Is Right

Labour’s performative cruelty in releasing videos of them
deporting people is clearly a response to the threat of Nigel Farage who seems destined
to be the UK’s next Prime Minister. It makes me wonder who is advising Keir
starmer. Have they learned nothing from what happened to the Tories? No matter
how far right the Tories ran, Farage was always able to outdo them. It was
probably a threat the Tories could not cope with because they were so
accustomed to being the voice of the Right. “You can’t out-Tory a Tory” was a
common refrain. However, Farage and his fellow extremists took it one better,
and the Tories have become largely irrelevant as a result of chasing the
xenophobic element within the UK electorate.
And now Labour seem to be making exactly the same mistake.
Surely it would be better for them to promote proper social policies which
actually improved people’s lives. Yes, they’d encounter negative press because
the people who own the media don’t want anything remotely left wing in a UK
Government, but Labour are receiving negative press anyway. They are rapidly
alienating their own voters and failing to attract that element of the
electorate which is fascinated by Farage’s rhetoric and which hasn’t yet seen
through the grifter’s self-serving motivations.
Of course, the main problem Labour have with veering
leftwards is that there genuine socialists have largely been purged from the
Party. Keir Starmer is a Tory at heart and in practice, so he seems unable to
contemplate any course of action which does not pander to the racist element
within the electorate.
So Labour seems doomed, and Farage will inevitably become PM
unless there is some major revelation among voters. I sincerely hope that
Scotland has escaped the UK prison before that happens. If we haven’t, we are
in real trouble.
